The Central Park Conservancy has announced a series of upcoming winter events including themed skating nights, nature hikes and some special tours of famous film and television locations within the park.

The new Gottesman Rink at the Davis Center will be hosting themed ice-skating events priced at $10 (and $5 for children):Glow Night
Friday, January 16, 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Tickets: $10, available here
Enjoy illuminated fun and music for all ages! Neon outfits are encouraged, and each ticket includes a glow accessory. Glow Night will include a special one-song skate from Olympic figure skater Bradie Tennell at 6:10pm, who will briefly sign autographs after her appearance.
Decade Night

Skate your way through the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s with a live DJ spinning the hits. It’s a family-friendly night of nostalgia on the ice—come dressed in your favorite decade and join the fun.
Valentine’s Day

Glide and groove with a live DJ at the rink! Kick off Valentine’s Day weekend on the ice with friends and family. Skate to fun music, show off your best moves, and dazzle in your favorite red and pink outfit.

This will be a celebration of the Harlem community with an evening full of the music, culture, and spirit that makes Harlem truly one of a kind. Show off your neighborhood pride on the rink and come dressed in your version of Harlem style.

Do the winter blues have you feeling down? In need of some greenery? Embrace nature’s quiet charms with our seasonal Forest Bathing Walk. This immersive experience through the Arthur Ross Pinetum—a four-acre arboretum with 17 different species of pine trees—will connect you with the present moment through nature’s calming elements. Starts at the Mariner’s Gate: West 85th St. and Central Park West.

Join the Conservancy for this special tour to view Central Park through a director’s lens and explore what Central Park’s TV and movies reveal about the connection between the Park and New York City. This official tour is the only one to reveal behind-the-scenes secrets of filming in Central Park – as the caretakers of Central Park, the Conservancy’s teams work daily with film and TV crews, from indie productions to major Hollywood blockbusters. Starts at 59th Street and 7th Avenue.
