Landmark West is hosting another conversation about The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on September 26th! The event will take place at 150 West 83rd Street. While the venue can hold 100 people, tickets are likely to sell out fast, given how popular the show has proven to be among Upper West Siders.
Amanda Foley, location scout for the award-winning series, is Landmark West’s guest for this behind-the-scenes evening. Foley will show photos, discuss personal highlights, and share just how her team pulls off their gorgeous architectural time-travel to 1950’s NYC.
Audience members will hear how everything begins with a break down of the script. You’ll get a feel for who the characters are, where they live, and where their storylines will take them around the city. The Weissmans and Maisels are Upper West Siders, so naturally a classic pre-war apartment building had to be found.

The event will take place on Thursday, September 26th from 6:30 to 7:45pm. If you can’t make this date but are an avid viewer, be sure to check out the Paley Center exhibit which runs until September 6th.
Tickets are $35 for Landmark West members and $45 for non-members.
