Maybe you’re getting tired of all the Christmas trees, “Deck The Halls”, and Santa Claus. Check out Manhattan’s JCC on the Upper West Side. On December 13th, they are having a celebration that might be exactly what you’re looking for. “Young Professionals Chanukah: A Very 80’s Soiree!” sounds like a blast to me. Connect with like-minded party-goers, and enjoy some of those classic 80’s tunes with an all-night open bar for only $30! You might meet someone special. Or perhaps just get your groove on to a little Culture Club, Madonna, or Cyndi Lauper. You can be sure there will be plenty of Chanukah treats and other surprises.
The party is from 8pm – 11pm on December 13th. Yes, Chanukah may be officially over by then, but you can stay in the spirit with this festive event!
You don’t need to be a member of the JCC to attend this Chanukah party. But while you’re there, you may want to pick up a brochure. The JCC has such a wide variety of programs, classes, and special events that may interest you as well. They also have a health club, nursery school, a theatre, and unique films, so take a look around!
