Since its acquisition by Amazon, Whole Foods has set itself on a course to lower prices. Quality is maintained. Lower prices are already seen. This includes the stores on the Upper West Side. By the way … a new Trader Joe’s on the Upper West Side opened in May of 2018!  It’s located on 93rd and Columbus and is a great alternative if the uptown Whole Foods is too crowded.
