Two Suspects Wanted For Assaulting Cop

Police are looking for two suspects for assaulting an NYPD officer on the UWS. They’re asking members of the general public to assist them in identifying and locating the suspects, pictured above.

The incident took place on Thursday, November 30 at about 2:25 p.m. when the officer was attempting to apprehend a male suspect at 83rd and Riverside Drive for stealing a moped.

A second unknown male individual then intentionally struck the officer from behind with a moped he was riding. He then took off, driving north on Riverside Drive.

The other suspect fled by foot into Riverside Park.

The injured police officer was transported to an area hospital with a broken right leg and was listed in stable condition.
