Two Blurry Suspects Wanted for Subway Assault

Cops are looking for two male suspects with “medium builds” for assaulting a man at the station on 72nd and Broadway.

It started on a northbound 2 train at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday, when a 32-year-old man engaged in a verbal dispute with the suspects. All three got off the train at 72nd Street and the dispute became physical. The unknown suspects “kicked and punched the victim numerous times about the body and pushed the victim onto the train tracks,” police say.

The victim suffered a broken nose and right middle finger. He was transported by EMS to St. Luke’s Hospital in stable condition.

In addition to having medium builds, one of the suspects is described as having a medium complexion. One was last seen wearing a red jacket and black pants, while the other was wearing all black.
