Suspect Wanted for Unlawful Surveillance Incident at Subway Station

NYPD officials have issued an alert about an unlawful surveillance incident that happened this weekend at an Upper West Side subway station. Police are hoping someone from the public will be able to assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individual.

According to the police report, the incident occurred on Saturday, July 4 at about 11:15 a.m., when a 36-year-old female victim was approached from behind while on a staircase at the 59th Street – Columbus Circle subway station. Per the report, the suspect “took out an electronic device and placed it under the victim’s skirt” before fleeing in an unknown direction.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
