The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating an unidentified male suspect wanted for a recent robbery.
On Monday, January 10 at 7:15pm, a 22-year-old female entered the vestibule of 244 West 101st Street, between West End Avenue and Broadway. The suspect followed her in and grabbed her cellphone. When the 22-year-old female resisted, the suspect put a knife to her throat. He then fled on foot to the 103rd Street subway station on Broadway. The victim was not injured.

In the following video, the suspect can be seen in the vicinity of West 40th and Eighth Avenue (where he can be seen running from a police car).

Wow, 7:15pm. How awful and traumatic for the victim. Our best hope for justice here may be if this guy is in turn robbed of the phone by the now-ubiquitous army of fancier gun-toting criminals around the neighborhood.
