Suspect Wanted for Grabbing Man’s Crotch in Building Lobby

NYPD officials have issued an alert of an incident of forcible touching which occurred on the Upper West Side in late August. Police are hoping someone from the public will be able to assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individual.

According to the police report, the incident occurred on Monday, August 25 at about 11:10 p.m., when a 33-year-old male was walking home near 93rd and West End Avenue. The unknown suspect approached him and engaged him in a conversation, and as the victim entered a building, the suspect followed him in and proceeded to “grab the victim’s groin area over his clothing,” police say.

No injuries were reported and the suspect is described as a male with a light complexion last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, black shorts and black slippers.
