Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with a sexual abuse incident that occurred in Central Park this week.
NYPD officials say that at about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, a 30-year-old woman was jogging “in the vicinity of 70 West Drive” when an unknown individual on a blue Razor scooter approached her from behind. The suspect “got off the scooter, grabbed the victim’s waist from behind and rubbed himself against the victim.”

He then hopped back on the scooter and fled northbound, exiting the park onto 72nd and Central Park West.
The victim did not sustain any physical injuries as a result of this incident.
Police describe the male suspect as being approximately 20- to 25-year-old, 6’0″ tall and 165 pounds, with a dark complexion, brown eyes, and medium build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black and yellow sneakers.
The NYPD has obtained and shared surveillance footage of the suspect entering a subway platform.
The incident is being investigated by the NYPD’s Manhattan Special Victims Squad.
