Police are on the hunt for a man and woman who forcefully robbed a victim on the Upper West Side last month. They are hoping someone from the public will be able to help them identify and locate the suspects.
NYPD officials say the incident took place on October 30 at approximately 10:08 p.m.
The victim, a 41-year-old woman, was walking down 63rd Street (the incident address was 217 West 63rd Street) when the two unidentified suspects approached her from behind.
The male suspect displayed a silver firearm while the female forcibly removed the victim’s pocketbook from her left shoulder and her cellphone from her left hand.
The pair fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The estimated valued of the stolen property was about $800. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
Police say both suspects have a dark complexion and are likely between 25 and 30 years old. The man was last seen wearing a red hoodie, ripped blue jeans and black boots. He was also seen holding a light brown ski mask. The female suspect was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black leggings and red winter boots.
What will happen to them if they are identified? Nothing.
