The NYPD issued an alert this week about a robbery that took place in Central Park last month. Police are hoping someone from the public will be able to assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individual.

According to the report, the incident occurred on December 6 at about 8 p.m., when an unidentified suspect approached an 18-year-old male and 17-year-old female walking in Central Park (police have not specified the exact location). Per the report, the suspect “approached them from behind and shoved them to the ground. While on the ground the individual went through the male victims’ pockets and removed his wallet, and cell phone.”The suspect then exited the park by food and fled to parts unknown.
EMS responded and treated the victims on scene for minor injuries.
“The sought individual is described as male, with a light complexion, and slim build. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black sneakers, and black face mask.”
