Police Searching For 83-Year-Old Man Missing From Upper West Side

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help finding an 83-year-old Upper West Side man who hasn’t been seen since Saturday afternoon. According to the police report, John Ryan was last seen leaving his home at 145 West 108th Street at around 1:20 p.m. on Saturday, August 29.

The building, located between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues, is an affordable housing facility run by the West Side Federation for Seniors and Supportive Housing (WSFSSH).

Ryan is described as a white male, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a Yankees baseball hat, a black shirt, black pants and black sneakers.
