Pokebab, a Japanese restaurant specializing in poke bowls, has opened at 2047 Broadway (between 70th and 71st Streets). This space was formerly occupied by Maoz Vegetarian, which recently closed. Pokebab also has a location at 209 Bedford Ave in Brooklyn.
Their menu has nine signature poke bowls, with tuna and salmon as the most common proteins. Plus a build it yourself option: choose a base (bowl, burrito or salad), protein, topping, flavor, and a “crunch”.
