“The venue will feature a restaurant and cocktail bar on the first floor and will also have seating in the basement and backyard. The basement will be able to accommodate events in 3 separate function rooms.”

According to the restaurant’s website, “The Pekarna Group also owns and operates boutique apartments in the center of Ljubljana, the capital city and heart of Slovenia.”

Pekarna will also be located two doors down from the new bar by Amsterdam Ale House, which is also supposed to have an outdoor space.

Glick Property Group purchased 588, 590, 592, and 594 Amsterdam Avenue in 2013 for for $33 million. The developer’s plan was to renovate the buildings to attract higher-paying, more upscale tenants.
