Our Senses: An Immersive Experience at the AMNH

Our Senses: An Immersive Experience at the AMNH is a new interactive exhibit opening to the public on November 20th, 2017 at the American Museum of Natural History.

You’ll be questioning your senses as you explore and experience eleven fun-house like spaces. The point of the exhibition is to show us how what we sense is influenced by our brains, and how nothing is ever quite what it seems on the surface.

Throughout the exhibit, you’ll learn all about the senses and how they play tricks on us.

How what you see depends on light.

How your brain determines what you see and hear, and how it communicates with your organs.

How smells are linked to memories.

And how technology plays a role in all of this.

This exhibit is recommended for anyone who enjoys questioning reality, learning more about themselves, or just getting freaked the hell out.
