I love old brownstones on the Upper West Side! And the older the better (as long as they’re intact). The Upper West Side brownstones listed below have the earliest dates of construction. Please note these are estimates provided by city records.
108 West 75th Street – 1880
This is one of the few brownstone condos on the Upper West Side. It has five units, with one on each floor. It has a 20′ wide exterior and a classic stoop. The apartments are over 1000 square feet and given the scarcity of brownstone condos in such desirable locations, they command a pretty penny.
38 West 83rd – 1880
This is a seven-unit Upper West Side rental townhouse with a keyed elevator. Located on a picturesque Central Park block, this is a great setting for those who wish to experience the Upper West Side without committing to a purchase.
123 West 69 Street – 1882
This is a small brownstone with a 17′ width and just over 3,000 square feet of residential space. There are two apartments across three floors, making it an intimate living situation for some lucky Upper West Siders!

This is another five unit brownstone condo. The building is pet-friendly and has a bike room, storage room and laundry.

A three-story single family Upper West Side townhouse. A little rough around the edges, but I’m sure it’s beautiful inside.
126 West 87th Street – 1888
Another single family townhouse, located on the same block. Plenty of room for a single resident with almost 4,000 square feet.
