Police are asking for the public’s help locating a 70-year-old Upper West Side man who has been missing since last week.

Robert Dewars was last seen leaving his residence at 315 West 94th Street (between West End Avenue and Riverside Drive) on Friday, June 12, at approximately 10:40 a.m., according to the NYPD. He has not been heard from since, and authorities are now appealing to neighborhood residents who may have seen him or who have information about where he might be.Dewars is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and 190 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a white golf shirt, gray pants, and brown shoes.
The case falls within the confines of the 24th Precinct.
Police are encouraging anyone who recognizes Dewars or who may have crossed paths with him since Friday morning to come forward, even if the detail seems minor. Information about his direction of travel, recent sightings, or places he is known to frequent can all assist investigators working to bring him home safely.
