A Movie Screening For Cats

Last modified on September 15th, 2021

Attention cat video fanatics: New Plaza Cinema presents CatVideoFest! This 70-minute film is a compilation of the best cat videos from the deep depths of the internet. The film will take place on Sunday, April 7th at 2pm at the New York Institute of Technology Auditorium, located at 1871 Broadway (between 61st and 62nd Streets).

There will also be an adoption event run in the lobby by The Animal Project NYC. Their volunteers will have kittens and cats available for adoption, and will be able to answer any questions you might have about taking care of a cat.

As a side note, my girlfriend and I got our cats from them. Here’s just a brief look at the caliber of cuteness they deliver:

CatVideoFest raises money for cats in need through partnerships with local cat charities, animal welfare organizations and shelters. Their other goal is to raise awareness for these little fur-balls.

The movie is family-friendly and can and should be enjoyed by all.
