Pilati Body opened last month at 969 Columbus Avenue (between 107th and 108th streets). According to @TradedNY, it’s a 1,200 square foot space and the asking rent was $9,400 per month. The studio offers small group classes which you can sign up for through the link in their Instagram bio. Here are some early reviews, which are positive so far.

Lily’s Roasters will be opening soon at 109 West 86th Street (between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues); the owners tell us they’re shooting for late April or early May. You can follow them on Instagram for updates, and check out their website (where you can “Enter your email and enjoy your free coffee on grand opening day).”

Pilates Addiction is opening a new location at 117 West 72nd Street (between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues). The studio has locations throughout the U.S., and this appears to be its first in NYC. Pilates Addiction offers “Dynamic Pilates classes blending classical technique and modern intensity to strengthen your core and sculpt long, lean muscles,” according to its website, and they’re offering some early signup deals for the UWS location (here).

Grassroots Fitness is opening a second Upper West Side location at 250 West 106th Street (corner of Broadway). The business, which has another location at 371 Amsterdam Avenue (between 77th and 78th streets), offers a variety of classes for both adults and children, and was first launched in 2004. The new space, according to @TradedNY, will occupy the second and third floor of 250 West 106th Street and will span 2,800 square feet. The asking rent was $21,000 per month.

Mikado, a sushi restaurant with seven current locations dispersed throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, is opening at 137 West 72nd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues. The space was previously occupied by Zen Medica, which closed last June after 13 years. Thanks to Mike Marks for the tip and photo. Here’s an IG post from the restaurant confirming the location.

Industrious, a co-working space, is opening this month at 1900 Broadway (between 63rd and 64th streets), according to its website, which states that private offices start at $1,908 per month. The spaces come fully furnished and memberships include a daily breakfast, access to meeting rooms and other Industrious locations (they’ve got a few in the city), and “Dedicated on-site support.”
