The developers behind Waterline Square have announced that FS8, “the global fitness brand known for its dynamic workout concept combining Pilates, Tone, and Yoga,” will be opening up a 2,422 square studio at Three Waterline Square (639 West 59th Street). It’s slated to open during the spring of 2026. This will be the Australian-born fitness company’s first NYC location.

Keta Medical Center recently opened its second Upper West Side location at 123 West 86th Street (between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues). The original UWS outpost is located at 7 West 96th Street. “Treatment offerings include IV Ketamine and FDA-approved Spravato nasal spray to target the brain’s neuroplasticity and achieve rapid relief for the 30% of adults with clinical depression who do not respond to traditional treatment mechanisms,” a press person wrote us in an email.

Carina Hildebrandt, a retailer offering knitwear made in Peru, has opened a new location at 113 West 78th Street (between Columbus and Amsterdam avenues). The business sells a variety of blouses, sweaters, skirts, jackets and more, and is based in Aspen, CO. Appointments are recommended but “Drop in visits are often possible with at least half an hour notice.” The space was previously home to Midtown Physical Therapy. “The collection is simple, chic, contemporary and incredibly versatile,” Carina Hildebrandt’s website states. “Our knits skim in the most unique and flattering way without clinging to the body.”

Polanco Social, a kosher restaurant serving Mexican cuisine, opened last week at 474 Columbus Avenue (off the corner of 83rd Street). As we recently reported, the new eatery comes from the owners of Thyme & Tonic, who earlier this month closed down that restaurant to make way for the new concept. “We just haven’t been generating sufficient business to continue along this path,” the owners wrote explaining their decision. “Polcanco Social is a vibrant fusion of Jewish and Mexican culinary traditions,” the new restaurant’s website states. “Our journey began with a mission to bridge the gap between these two rich heritages, bringing a harmonious blend of flavors to your table.”
