Actor Michael Imperioli took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce the opening of Dahlia, a new cocktail bar at 269 Columbus Avenue (between 72nd and 73rd streets).
Imperioli and his wife, Victoria, have teamed up with Jeremy Wladis, president of The Restaurant Group, to open Dahlia. The loungey space is the sister establishment to Scarlet, which the trio opened in December 2023 at 468 Amsterdam (between 82nd and 83rd streets).

Wladis told us the space is “Hermes orange” and was designed and outfitted by Victoria Imperioli, who was also responsible for the interior design at Scarlet in addition to recent design work at Dahlia’s next-door neighbor, Harvest (formerly Harvest Kitchen). Eater notes the new spot’s “tile flooring, copper-rimmed stools at a marble bar, velvet mid-century chairs, and other period accents.”
The Restaurant Group owns and operates Harvest along with several other UWS staples including Good Enough to Eat, Nina’s Great Burrito Bar, Big Gay Ice Cream and Fred’s (next door to Scarlet).
Perhaps best known for his roles in “The Sopranos” and “White Lotus,” Michael Imperioli is a resident of the neighborhood and has often been seen at Scarlet since its opening. In the ‘90s and early 2000s, the Imperiolis owned and operated Ciel Rouge, a bar in Chelsea that the couple lived above and often hosted “Sopranos” after parties at.
According to Imperioli’s Instagram post announcing Dahlia’s opening, the bar will be open daily starting at 5 p.m. for cocktails and snacks.

Wladis tells us Dahlia’s chef is Joey Fortunato, who he also hired for Scarlet.

Dahlia’s drink list (view the full menu here) includes a selection of classic and signature cocktails ($19 – $22), five beers ($14 – $16) and an assortment of mocktails and wines. Small plates range in price from $14 to $19 – excluding the $115 plate of caviar – and include a Honey Truffle Grilled Cheese Sandwich ($19), Tempura Shrimp Tacos ($17) and “Saltine” Crab Cakes ($19).
Imperioli is currently starring alongside Jeremy Strong in Broadway’s “An Enemy of the People,” which is running through June 23.
Congratulations Michael and team !
Scarlet is a beautiful and I look forward to Dahlia !
I like the concept – small intimate spaces, beautifully deco’d, with great staff !
Let me request/suggest a ‘well drink’ special, or beer/spritz special, of some kind, for the 2nd or even 3rd drink of the night. We would add another bev, perhaps another nibbly too, as they’re such nice spaces to spend time in.
That is NOT a complaint – we love it! Look forward to Dahlia – we’ll be there soon.
(you have the 70s, and 80s done now – how about the 90s next?)
I wish you continued success!
Many thanks for bringing something classy to the neighborhood! Can’t wait to go!
Imperioli and Wladis – a winning combination! Cannot wait!
Good for Mike branching out. I love the boxcar feel of the whole place, nice vibe.
