Man Shot Inside Upper West Side Convenience Store, Suspects Sought

A 19-year-old man was shot inside an Upper West Side convenience store on Sunday night, and police are searching for two suspects who fled the scene.

Police were notified at 10:25 p.m. of the shooting at 2812 Broadway, near West 109th Street. The victim was pistol-whipped and shot in the chest, according to the NYPD.

EMS transported the man to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The two suspects were armed and made off with the victim’s chain, police said. Both fled north on Broadway. Police described the suspects as two males with dark complexions, one wearing all gray with a black ski mask and the other dressed entirely in black.
