Celebrate the holidays with Broadway and TV star, Lea Michele on December 19th, 20th and 21st at the NY Society for Ethical Culture on the Upper West Side. Earlier this year, Michele released her third studio album, “Christmas in the City,” which features some of her favorite holiday tunes. Her upcoming concert promises to deliver the magic of the holidays in true New York style. Doors open at 6:30pm.
While there isn’t any news on who Michele will be performing with, one can hope one of the guests on her album will make a surprise appearance such as Glee co-star, Darren Criss, who sang “White Christmas” with her. Her Spring Awakening co-star and best friend, Jonathan Groff, also makes a guest appearance in “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” and award-winning Broadway performer Cynthia Erivo sings a duet with Michele in “Angels We Have Heard On High.”
In an interview with Billboard.com, Michele described how joyful the season makes her feel. “There’s nothing happier than a Christmas record,” she said. “For me especially, it just reminds me of so many amazing memories and feelings from growing up. That in conjunction with where I’m at personally right now, being a newlywed, I definitely felt like it was the right time.” Michele’s album features classics such as “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of The Year” and “Do You want To Build A Snowman”. She also co-wrote a new song called “Christmas in New York,” which she describes as a love letter to the city she grew up in.

Her performances earned her Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. She later on teamed up with Murphy to star alongside Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis in Scream Queens.
Michele is also the author of two books: Brunette Ambition (2014) and You First: Journal Your Wany to Your Best Life (2015). Her next book, Same Time, Next Christmas comes out this December.
