According to a notice posted by the production team, filming will take place between 7:00 a.m. and midnight on both days in the vicinity of 62nd and Broadway, and several streets have parking restrictions in place.
To facilitate the production, parking has been restricted on portions of Columbus Avenue, Broadway, Amsterdam Avenue, and nearby side streets. Residents are urged to observe the posted “No Parking” signs to avoid any inconvenience. If you have specific concerns, such as scheduled deliveries or accessibility needs, the production’s location department can be reached at (929) 520-0405.
For those unfamiliar, Dexter: Resurrection is the latest installment in the popular Dexter franchise, following the critically acclaimed Dexter: New Blood, which revived the beloved crime thriller. Filming commenced in January in NYC.

While official plot details remain under wraps, this new chapter is expected to delve deeper into the fate of Dexter’s son, Harrison, who was last seen grappling with his father’s dark legacy. Michael C. Hall, who portrayed the titular serial killer for eight seasons, has been spotted filming scenes in New York City.
The production, operating under the working title “DXO,” has been spotted in various locations, including the Bronx and Yonkers. Dexter: Resurrection is slated to premiere this summer on Paramount+ with Showtime.
Whether you’re a longtime Dexter fan or just a curious neighbor, keep an eye out for the action; just don’t leave your car in the wrong spot, or it might mysteriously ‘disappear’ from the scene.

Here’s hoping producers and script writers were savvy enough to also bring back Yvonne Strahovski. Hers and Michael C. Hall’s obvious chemistry (and within the show, Harrison as a little boy loved her character, Hannah McKay, as his potential stepmother) was off the charts. In the sequel Dexter has left his lumberjack life, moved on and is now enjoying small town life while having an affair with a Native American sheriff; late-teenaged Harrison suddenly appears and I may have forgotten what Harrison fills his father in about whether or not his Buenos Aires-based “mom,” Hannah McKay, is still alive. But….no matter. For this iteration, producers could chalk it all up to Harrison choosing to deceive his father and Hannah could easily have made it back to the States under an assumed name and…..just like that….you could work her back into Dexter’s life! Hope springs eternal.
