The new Joe Coffee on the Upper West Side opened on Monday, April 16th. The new spot is located at 271 Amsterdam (between 72nd and 73rd).
They have a few other UWS locations. One at 514 Columbus Ave (86th Street), 187 Columbus Ave (between 68th and 69th), and two at Columbia University. In addition to their wide selection of coffees, Joe Coffee offers teas, Italian sodas and pastries.
The company opened in 2003 in the West Village, and has become a pretty serious NYC coffee chain. We included them in an old post about our favorite coffee places. Let’s see if they can outnumber the Upper West Side Starbucks locations!
