JCC Launches Clothing Drive for Immigrant Students in District 3

jcc clothing drive

The JCC’s spring and summer clothing drive will be taking place from March 11-22, with all donations going to immigrant students at District 3 public schools. Items can be gently used or new.

“Help ensure that new immigrants in District 3 public schools have the clothing they need for the spring and summer seasons,” the JCC writes on its website.

They’re currently accepting infant, toddler and children-sized warmer weather items including lightweight pants, shorts and t-shirts, dresses, socks and underwear (must be new), shoes, pajamas and lightweight outerwear.

Donations can be delivered to the JCC’s lobby at 334 Amsterdam Avenue (at 76th Street). The JCC’s hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the week and 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.
