It’s called the Banana Pudding Stuffed Fried Chicken and Pancakes.

c/o Jacob’s Pickles
The $28 plate is topped with crispy bacon, candied pecans, and a maple syrup drizzle, and it will be available at Jacob’s Pickles (509 Amsterdam Ave. between 84th and 85th streets) until September 5.
Magnolia Bakery‘s banana pudding is one of its most coveted treats, and Jacob’s is known for a plethora of over-the-top comfort creations, many of which include its buttermilk fried chicken.
“To say we’re THRILLED is the understatement of the year. We’re HUGE fans of #magnoliabakery and their amazing team and couldn’t be happier to partner with them,” wrote Jacob’s Pickles on Instagram.
Here’s a video of the banana pudding and fried chicken and pancakes and bacon, all coalescing into one:
A lot of fried dreck there.
For an extra $10 they’ll throw in a stent.
Eeech. ?
Not my thing especially at 28!!! I’ll stick to only great cupcakes and cake slices.
Gross!
Unprecedented Culinary Extravagance, I think not.
In the name of culinary diversity, and tooth decay, MagnoJacob has yet to add the following to this new menu item from Hell, namely, a dollop-or-two of guacamole with extra jalapeno, naturally, a surrounding fringe of gobi tikka masala with onion chutney and, finally, some fresh uni atop slivers of spicy scallop sashimi. Don’t why they forgot the whipped cream and a good pour of gazpacho over the entire fixture to finalize the presentation.
a combination of sweet and salty is what makes the fried chicken and pancakes a hit. however, if you add banana pudding to the mix, it will be exceptionally too sweet…
Jacob’s Pickles was one of the most disappointing food experiences this lifelong New Yorker has ever had.
I can already hear my arteries hardening…
That’s a real colon cleanser
