She’s at least got a home here again — and has for longer than you might think.
Property records recently obtained by The New York Post reveal that comedian Amy Schumer quietly purchased a corner condominium on Central Park West for $6.25 million in January 2025, buying the three-bedroom, 3½-bath apartment under a trust. The deal closed roughly three months before she listed her Brooklyn Heights townhouse, which she ultimately sold at a loss amid her divorce.

This marks a return to familiar territory for the longtime Upper West Sider, though whether she’s moved back full-time or simply added another property to her portfolio remains unclear. ILTUWS reported in April 2023 that Schumer had sold her previous neighborhood home — a sprawling penthouse at 190 Riverside Drive and 91st Street — for $13 million. That full-floor spread, which she’d owned since 2016, featured 4,500 square feet of interior space and a stunning 3,000 square feet of outdoor terraces across two levels. Her Brooklyn chapter proved brief and costly. In December 2025, Schumer sold the four-story townhouse at 19 Cranberry Street — the 1829-built home famously featured in the film “Moonstruck” — for $11 million, about $1.25 million less than what she and her then-husband, chef Chris Fischer, paid in 2022. The property had initially hit the market at $14 million before price cuts brought it down to its final sale price.
Schumer all but confirmed the Central Park West move herself over the holidays, posting from inside the new apartment while sharing photos documenting a roughly 50-pound weight loss. The backdrop? A grand living room overlooking Central Park and the midtown skyline.
Last year, she announced plans to return to Manhattan to be closer to her 6-year-old son’s school — a practical consideration that clearly factored into her real estate decisions.
The new Upper West Side home leans hard into classic park-front appeal. The apartment features sweeping Central Park and reservoir views from every room, anchored by a long great room lined with bay windows. A newly renovated chef’s kitchen sits just off the main living space, outfitted with marble counters, custom cabinetry and high-end appliances.

The primary suite is set apart in its own wing with park views, a walk-in closet and a spa-style marble bathroom, while two additional bedrooms — both also facing the park — offer flexibility for guest space or a home office. A dedicated laundry room, central air, hardwood floors and a polished powder room round out the layout. The timing of the purchase coincided with major personal changes. In December, Schumer announced that she and Fischer were divorcing after seven years of marriage, writing, “Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever.”
Lisa Lippman and Scott Moore of Brown Harris held the listing (which appears to be here). Adam Modlin of the Modlin Group represented Schumer in the purchase. The comedian did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.
So while Schumer’s Brooklyn sojourn may not have worked out as planned, she now has a home where she started — among the tree-lined streets and park views of the Upper West Side, with neighbors like longtime friend Jerry Seinfeld at The Beresford nearby. Whether she’s a full-time resident again or splitting her time remains to be seen.
