Two separate housing lotteries went live on Jan. 8 for apartments at 110 West End Avenue (between 64th and 65th streets), a Mitchell-Lama co-op also known as Lincoln Amsterdam House. Both lotteries are open until Jan. 28.

The Mitchell-Lama program, established in 1955 through legislation sponsored by State Senator MacNeil Mitchell and Assemblyman Alfred Lama, was designed to provide affordable rental and cooperative housing for moderate- and middle-income New Yorkers. The program is jointly administered under both city and state supervision, depending on the development.The 25-story building was constructed in 1976 and houses 186 apartments. It also comes with a full-time doorman and laundry room.
The lotteries are for one- and two-bedroom apartments.
One-Bedroom Details:
- Eligible Household Size: one to three people
- Income Range: $33,480 to $182,250, depending on household size
- Purchase Price: $120,435 (subject to change)
- Monthly Maintenance: $570 to $837 (subject to change)
Two-Bedroom Details:
- Eligible Household Size: two to four people
- Income Range: $41,160 – $202,500, depending on household size
- Purchase Price: $138,246 (subject to change)
- Monthly Maintenance: $700 – $1,029 (subject to change)

Additional Notes:- Applicants must be New York State residents and at least 18 years old.
- Current shareholders are not eligible.
- Applications are not transferable, and only one entry per applicant is allowed (either online or by mail, not both).
- Veterans will receive preference in the lottery.
- A non-refundable $75 application fee applies to applicants selected in the lottery.
- Applicants can only be on one waiting list at a development.
- A waiting list will be established with 300 applicants selected for the One-bedroom and 200 applicants selected for the Two-Bedroom units.
