The Upper West Side’s Grand Bazaar NYC, located at 100 West 77th Street (on Columbus Ave) reopened on June 6, welcoming visitors for the first time in 15 months as the popular market had to shut down due to the pandemic. (For now it’s is only open outdoors).

Following a successful reopening and busy weekends since, they’ve now got their first official themed event on the calendar: the “Summer Brunch & Shop,” scheduled for Sunday, August 1 from 10am to 5pm!
Some of the foods expected include “smoked beef brisket sandwiches, stuffed empanadas, Korean corn dogs, Italian-style wood-oven pizzas, and Greek specialties.”

As always, you’ll also be able to browse through stands set up by over one-hundred vendors, local artists, makers, vintage and antique dealers and more. Here’s the official event page.
Grand Bazaar NYC is the city’s largest curated weekly market, with 100% of its profits going to four local public schools.
While the schedule is so far limited to August 1, some popular events over the years have included ice cream and food truck and maple festivals, the Halloween Scary Bazaar, and an end of year holiday market.
