It looks like it might rain on Saturday, but then again, it might not. Sunday’s forecast is looking pretty sweet.

Here are some fun things to do in the neighborhood this weekend, weather permitting.

See some free music in Central Park. In partnership with the Latin Alternative Music Conference, SummerStage will showcase “a trio of alt-pop artists hailing from Mexico, Spain and the United States”: Carla Morrison, Love of Lesbian, and DannyLux. Doors will open at 2pm and the show will take place on Saturday from 3-7pm. Learn more about the artists here.

Get married. As part of its Summer For The City Series, Lincoln Center is hosting an event for newlyweds whose wedding plans were ruined by the pandemic. “Celebrate Love: A (Re)Wedding” will take place on Sunday, July 10 at 5:30pm, with a celebration at Damrosch Park and a reception at Josie Robertson Plaza (now The Oasis, a giant dance floor). Look at the stars. On Saturday from 8-11pm, Summer on the Hudson will offer participants the chance to star gaze “with the help of the Amateur Astronomer’s Association” on Pier I at 70th Street. Here’s the Facebook event page. As we’re writing this, only two people have signed up to go, but that certainly doesn’t mean it won’t be fun.

Dance by the river. On Sunday from 7-9pm, Summer on the Hudson presents another fun event — also at Pier I. As part of its “Amplified Sundays” series, The Big Takeover will be performing live. “The Big Takeover plays original music that is rooted in and reverent toward the genres and rhythms of Jamaican pop: reggae, rocksteady, ska,” according to the band’s website. Here’s the Facebook event page.
