Actress Fran Drescher (famous for her role on “The Nanny”) will be hosting an event called “Bits and Bites” at Blossom on Columbus on January 22nd (first heard on Digital Journal). The event will go from 5 to 7pm, and will include Blossom’s vegan food, wine and cocktails, and a chance to hear Drescher tell her story of cancer survival, which has lead to the creation of her own non-profit, Cancer Schmancer.

Tickets are $75, and all proceeds will go towards Drescher’s organization.
Cancer Schmancer takes a different approach to cancer research by focusing on individual lifestyle choices and behaviors.
Blossom on Columbus is a vegan restaurant located at 507 Columbus Avenue, between 84th and 85th Streets. Blossom has become known for their vegan reinterpretations of classic world cuisine. They’ve also published “The Blossom Cookbook” which includes over 80 recipes. And they are also certified Kosher!
