Signage for Farinella, a pizzeria which used to have a location on Amsterdam Avenue between 72nd and 73rd Streets, has been spotted at 58th and Broadway.
Farinella’s previous UWS location, at 267 Amsterdam Ave, is now home to ramen spot Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai (as well as its offshoot, Curry Mania).
Farinella’s thin crust, rectangular pizzas are made by hand and baked in an Italian stone oven. If you’re getting a pie (or “pala”), they come in lengths of 2 and 4 feet.

Some menu items are priced on the high side, with individual slices ranging from $4 to $8. Two of those at the top of the price list include the V.I.P. (with artichoke pesto, fresh mint, Pecorino Romano and goat cheese) and the Al Tartufo (with mozzarella, Fontina, Ricotta, Pecorino Romano, and goat cheese).
In addition to pizza, Farinella serves handmade bread, salads and Italian desserts including cannoli, bomboloni and a Nutella pizza.
Reviews for the UES location: 3.9 stars on Google, 3.5 stars on Yelp, 5 stars on Facebook, and 4.3 stars on OpenTable.
