A new seafood restaurant, El Fish Shack, is expected to open this March or April at 153 Amsterdam Avenue (at West 67th Street). The new eatery will be right next to Old John’s Luncheonette, which new owner Louis Skibar is expected to reopen in February.
El Fish Shack also comes from Louis Skibar, and the head chef will be Chef Julian Medina.
The restaurant has existed as a popup in Astoria for the last couple months. The current menu is expected to be close to identical at the upcoming UWS outpost.
