The temporary field hospital in Central Park will stop admitting new patients on Monday, May 4th, Mount Sinai Hospital said. It is expected to take about two weeks to close the facility completely.
A total of 315 patients were treated at the field hospital, according to Mount Sinai.
“While this crisis is far from over, this marks a significant turning point in the coronavirus outbreak in New York that gives us assurance that we are returning towards normalcy,” Mount Sinai said in a statement.

Council Member Corey Johnson, among other local leaders, also publicly expressed opposition towards the group and their involvement.
My statement on Samaritan’s Purse:

Senator Brad Hoylman told NBC New York that approximately forty employees of Samaritan’s Purse would stay within the Mount Sinai system and would be redeployed to Beth Israel Hospital.
Fantastic! Wonderful! Don’t let the door hit you on your way out. Franklin Graham was laundering his loud right wing evangelical support of Trump (including calling the virus a hoax until Trump had to turn around on that). Very good riddance.
Good riddance indeed!
Shocking that liberals can just keep spewing hatred, lies and threaten people on the right, but that’s always overlooked and accepted. You’re all hypocrites in this city.
