Celebrate the High Holidays with a Fun-Filled Street Fair on the Upper West Side

Looking for a joyful way to welcome the Jewish High Holidays with the whole family? On Sunday, September 14, Chabad Family Programs will be hosting its annual community street fair—a festive, family-friendly celebration filled with activities, entertainment, and community warmth.

The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. on West 97th Street between Amsterdam and Columbus Avenues, right outside PS 163. The block will be filled with holiday-themed crafts, teen-led carnival booths, giant inflatables, kids’ shows, and a variety of classic street fair treats. Local vendors will also be set up throughout the fair.

A packed performance lineup will include beloved clown duo Sammie and Tudie, an interactive bubble show, a holiday sing-along, and a hands-on shofar factory workshop. Face painting, cotton candy, and caramel apples will also be available to help set the festive tone.

There will be a kosher BBQ and other street food options, available separately from the main fair activities.

All-access bracelets are available with a suggested contribution of $18 online or $22 at the fair. This includes entry to all activities, performances, and inflatables.
