Car Flips on 90th and Broadway

Two Ford SUV’s collided on 90th and Broadway this afternoon. Thanks to Steven Stark for the tip and the photo.

We reached out to the NYPD’s press office and were sent the following statement:

“There is a report of a collision on file today at 1342 hours at West 90th Street and Broadway within the confines of the 24 Precinct. The report states that a 2017 Ford SUV was traveling northbound on Broadway toward West 90th Street when a 2006 Ford SUV came from the southbound side of Broadway making a left turn to go eastbound on West 90th Street and did proceed against a red light. The vehicles then collided causing the 2006 Ford to flip on its side. The driver of the 2006 Ford stated to police that they were traveling southbound on Broadway and were attempting to make a left turn eastbound onto West 90th Street and proceeded through the intersection when the other motorist struck his vehicle. There were minor injuries to both parties.”
