Looking for a bit of whimsy and magic in Central Park? On June 2nd, a bubble garden at Tavern on the Green will open for a month-long celebration of all things sudsy and spherical!
The iconic Upper West Side eatery promises to blow you away with fizzy fun! From 12pm-close, the outdoor patio at the Central Park eatery will be turned into a bubble-filled paradise for all to enjoy.
Party goers can enjoy the ambiance of the patio, decked out with lanterns, string lights and a bubble machine. You can expect to choose from bubbly goodness like champagne, sparkling wines, unique fizzy cocktails as well as bubble tea! While there will be sparkling wines and cocktails for the adults, there will also be bubble machines and balloon artists on-site during opening and closing weekends for the kids to play with! This is sure to be a magical summertime experience for everybody!
The pop-up will feature a special al fresco menu curated by Chef Bill Peet of Tavern on the Green. Chef Peet has more than 35 years of New York fine dining experience and will be creating dishes using inspiration from Tavern on the Green’s historic past and his experiences in the fine dining world.
You can expect a bubble-themed menu with dishes such as smoked salmon salad with caviar, a braised beef short rib sandwich with pickled red pearl onions and horseradish cream, and cherry tomato flatbread! For desert, you can try some funfetti cake pops!
The bubble garden at Tavern on the Green is expected to run Thursday-Sunday, June 2nd – July 4th at Central Park West and 67th Street.
