Amazon Studio’s upcoming Untitled Tracy Oliver Project has begun filming on West 110th Street. The TV show is produced by Amy Poehler and Tracy Oliver. We learned about this through one of our tipsters who lives at 321 West 110th Street; she told us that the signage says they will be shooting at the building and in the surrounding area throughout the spring.
Tracy Oliver is well known for co-writing the screenplay for Girls Trip, which was a box office hit grossing more than $100 million. Oliver is also the creator and executive producer for BET’s upcoming adaption of The First Wives Club, and has numerous other projects in the works.
This particular project is very exciting for Oliver because she is partnering with Amy Poehler’s company Paper Kite Productions. They will both be executive producers on the project – so keep your eyes peeled for Poehler in the neighborhood as well!

Oliver stated that “This series is a dream project for me. I found the perfect partners in Amy Poehler, Amazon Studios and Universal, who have championed this project from the beginning. I can’t wait to get started and share the story of these four women navigating the complexities of adulthood through their unbreakable friendship.”
The cast for the show has some star leads including Grace Byers, Meagan Good, Jerrie Johnson, and Shoniqua Shandai. Meagan Good’s character, Camille, is a professor at Columbia University. Perhaps that’s why they are filming in our area?
Each of the characters has specific defining traits – think Sex and the City. From creative and romantic to smart and aspiring, these characters will be sure to strike a cord with NYC lovers.
Amazon Studios has expressed that they are huge fans of Oliver and noted her incredible talent as a writer and producer. They are also looking forward to having Poehler on as an executive producer.
It’s always exciting when a show is filming in the neighborhood. Keep your eyes peeled for these stars and if the series takes off, you can count on seeing them around for quite some time.
