The waiting list is now open for a housing lottery at 21 West End Avenue (between 60th and 61st streets), a 48-story mixed-use building that has been a prominent part of the Upper West Side skyline since construction was completed in 2016.

Developed by Dermot Company and designed by SLCE Architects, 21 West End features 616 residences and amenities that include a 24-hour concierge, dedicated dog park, dog daycare, outdoor terrace, yoga room, 60-foot indoor pool and more. Additional amenities can be viewed here. The building is just a block from Lincoln Center and easily accessible to the West Side Highway.
The waiting list is open on NYC Housing Connect, offering applicants who meet the income requirements a chance to secure apartments ranging in size from studios to three-bedrooms. Apartment availability can be viewed here. Prospective residents can also join the waiting list for future vacancies, with units priced at 40 and 50 percent of the area median income (AMI), catering to a range of eligible incomes from $22,626 to $87,550.
Units at 21 West End include washers and dryers, dishwashers, energy-efficient appliances, and air conditioning. Tenants are responsible for electricity costs, and there may be additional fees for use of certain building amenities. The building is pet friendly though breed restrictions may apply.

For new tenants, there’s a choice between a one-year lease with a three percent increase or a two-year lease with a 2.75 percent increase for the first year and 3.20 percent for the second year. Actual rent may vary based on lease terms.
