Mark your calendars for Friday, October 30, as cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show will play on the big screen at Burger Joint, a hidden gem located within the upscale Thompson Central Park hotel at 119 West 56th Street (behind the red curtain in the lobby’s main atrium)!
Screenings are scheduled for 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.; there are no tickets or cover charge … just show up (with a purchase) and settle in for the show. Guests are also encouraged to come dressed in their finest Rocky Horror-inspired attire!
If you’ve never seen the film and have always wondered why all the hoopla, “It’s the ultimate cult movie,” BBC wrote in 2020. “The first. The biggest. The one cult movie to rule them all. For more than 40 years, The Rocky Horror Picture Show has defined what we mean by a ‘cult’ movie, though few can ever hope to match its phenomenal level of ritualised worship.”

Now, if you’re not familiar with Burger Joint, well, it’s also a longtime cult favorite, so by the end of the night, you’ll be a much cooler person.
For the occasion, Burger Joint is debuting several menu favorites and new additions, including the return of its Cheese Fries, dirty loaded fries, and a Kids Value Meal featuring a mini version of the classic Burger Joint burger.
In honor of the late, great Tim Curry, forever our Frank-N-Furter, Burger Joint is serving the Frank-N-Shaker, a decadent caramel apple-inspired shake available throughout October. For one night only, guests can also dig into special Rocky Horror-themed creations, including the Eddie Sundae and the Meatloaf’s For Dinner Burger. As Frank famously says, “Come up to the lab and see what’s on the slab.”
Can’t wait until movie night? Get the celebration started early at Burger Joint’s Halloween Trivia Night on Tuesday, October 27, hosted by Jourdan Nokleby. Trivia begins at 6:30 p.m., and winners will take home a selection of festive prizes.
