It will be the second location for Savor, whose original shop on Riverdale Avenue is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and bills itself as a one-stop place for breakfast, brunch, coffee, and cocktails. We’re told the location will be open as of Tuesday, June 16 at 7 a.m.The current menu leans well beyond coffee. Mornings cover build-your-own waffles and crepes with fruit or Nutella, a pair of avocado toasts (one with mozzarella and balsamic, one with feta and olives), and an English breakfast plate with eggs, Swiss, and a choice of bacon or turkey bacon. There is also a roster of salads, from a basic house and Caesar to a spring mix with strawberries and goat cheese and a burrata plate with grilled eggplant.
The lunch and dinner side is where the kitchen stretches the most. Sandwiches and wraps include a pesto chicken on ciabatta, a tuna sandwich, and a Savor burger topped with a fried egg and chipotle mayo. There are several panini and a few flatbreads, among them a truffle version with mushrooms and parmesan and a buffalo chicken one. Heartier plates run to grilled salmon over mashed potatoes, house chicken strips, and qofte, three meat patties served with a white sauce and cabbage salad. A short Mexican grill section adds tacos and quesadillas with a choice of steak, chicken, or fish, and the kitchen also turns out charcuterie boards.

For anyone there mainly for the pastry case, Savor stocks croissants, muffins, and a long list of desserts, including several cheesecakes, tiramisu, eclairs in four flavors, and Italian cakes like hazelnut torta and pistachio ricotta cheesecake. The café has been promoting the new location on Instagram over the past week, calling it a coffee, brunch, and pastry spot and telling followers it is “coming soon.” A follow-up post framed the move as an expansion: “Two locations. One Savor experience.”
