The Upper West Side is embracing the warmer temperatures with a bunch of different events ready to delight the whole family. Egg Hunt and Bunny Fun
Riverside Park
What would Easter be without a good ole egg hunt? For those with families, this is the most exciting event out there for children as they get to explore Riverside Park in search of hidden surprises. Think N Fun’s Egg Hunt and Bunny Fun is one of the most popular Easter events of the neighborhood and kids love the opportunity to take a special picture with the bunny after the treats have been collected. Each child receives a festive painting stamp, a cute accessory, a light beverage and a bunny basket. Egg Decorating and Nest Making Workshop
The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine
A fun alternative to the classic egg hunting ritual is taking place at The Cathedral of Saint John the Divine (a beautiful church!). This annual event is a unique activity for children as they get to design their very own Easter eggs. The decorating and nest making workshop supplies participants with the necessary materials such as tissue paper, glitter, glue, and paint. Parents only need to worry about bringing two hard-boiled eggs with them and making sure they reserve a spot before the activity on March 19th. Kids will have a blast letting their imagination run free and parents will have just as much fun watching them get creative and making nests with twigs, feathers, and clay.

Follow the Easter bunny all the way down the rabbit hole with an Alice in Wonderland themed brunch. Rutgers Presbyterian Church
The historical Rutgers Presbyterian Church is commemorating Easter week by offering a variety of services and events that are open to members and visitors. They’ll host an Easter sunrise service as well as a holiday breakfast. They’ll also be presenting their classic Easter Sunday Service and an egg hunt for those churchgoers with little ones in their family. Rutgers’s Holy Week features a Palm Sunday scooter procession, Maundy Thursday foot washing service, and a Good Friday Bach’s B Minor mass. This emblematic church is exclusively dedicated to the mission of spreading the good news of God’s love on the Upper West Side.
