Teens Wanted For Subway Assault, Robbery

On December 19, a 32-year-old male riding a northbound 2 train was assaulted when the train reached 72nd and Broadway.

Three teenage boys, one of whom has now been arrested, punched the victim in the face, causing bruising and swelling. They then forcibly removed his iPhone 13, worth an estimated $500.

The two teens still at large are described by police as “males [with] dark complexion, approximately 15 to 18 years of age. One was last seen wearing a red jacket, black jeans, white sneakers and a red backpack. The other suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, light gray ripped jeans, white sneakers and a multi-color backpack.
