If you’ve never been to Ortomare Ristorante Pizzeria at 994 Columbus Ave (109th Street), you’ll definitely want to head over and try out their authentic Italian dishes and desserts – all reasonably priced and served within a beautiful, rustic setting.
Ortomare’s pies offer an exceptionally crispy crust and smoky flavor. The dough is fermented for 72 hours, which creates a very light and easy to digest pizza. Most ingredients are imported directly from Italy, and Ortomare’s pizza maker, Yonas, has over 20 years of experience making pizza in Rome.

Ortomare Ristorante Pizzeria is currently open Tuesday – Friday from 4-10 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-10 p.m. (with a 12-4 p.m. weekend brunch). They’re also open for outdoor dining, delivery and pickup.
