The Stuart Weitzman private collection exhibit has been a big hit at the New York Historical Society. Entitled “Walk This Way: Footwear from the Stuart Weitzman Collection of Historic Shoes”, the exhibit includes over 100 of the iconic designers shoes, which were collected over a three-decade period.
The exhibition also explores the story of the woman’s shoe in the context of economic history, consumption, industrialization and the rise of female entrepreneurship.
