NYPD officials have issued alerts about two separate incidents of forcible touching which recently took place on the Upper West Side. Police are hoping members of the general public will be able to assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individuals.
At about 7:50 a.m. on Tuesday, a 24-year-old female riding a southbound C train was approached by an unidentified male suspect at or near the station on 81st and Central Park West. The suspect sat next to her and grabbed her thigh, and she reacted by pushing his hand away, but “he continued to place his hand back on her thigh and squeezed,” according to the police report. “When the victim got up from her seat, he then touched her buttocks before fleeing on foot to parts unknown.” There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

Police describe the suspect as a male, roughly 15 to 20 years old, with a medium complexion and thin build. He has black hair and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and eyeglasses. He was also carrying a black jacket with white lettering on the back.
Another police report states that at about 1:13 p.m. on Monday, an unidentified individual approached a 15-year-old female and grabbed her buttocks at 83rd and Amsterdam. The individual then fled on foot, traveling eastbound West 83 Street. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
The individual sought is described as a male with a medium build and complexion. He was last seen wearing a white hat, a multi-colored jacket, black pants, and black and white sneakers, pulling a wagon.
