Rumors started in 2016 when the NY Post reported that Sting and Trudie Styler would be trading their 15 CPW apartment for a penthouse at 220 Central Park South. They sold their apartment at 15 CPW in 2018 for $50 million, and it’s now been confirmed that the couple has closed on a $65.7 million penthouse at 220 Central Park South.
Sting’s new pad measures 5,807 square feet and is located in the ‘villa’ section of 220 CPS.
Sting will be “neighbors” with Ken Griffin, the hedge-fund billionaire whose $238 million purchase set a US record for most expensive home ever purchased.

We’ve also recently learned that Jean Georges is opening a residents-only restaurant at 220 Central Park South (reader tip from ‘Upper West Sider’). Previously filed permits indicate this restaurant will be located on the building’s second floor.
