Sole Bistro Italiano just opened at 2014 Broadway, between 68th and 69th Streets. The previous occupant was Luce, also an Italian restaurant. The chef is Pasquale Giannella, whose resume includes Armando’s and Pane e Vino in Brooklyn (I found him on LinkedIN).
Menu items include classic Italian dishes like homemade meatballs, eggplant parmigiana and lasagna.
Sole Bistro offers 3-course prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner. The prix-fixe lunch is $25, dinner is $35.
They also have a free-dessert promotion for those attending performances at Lincoln Center and the AMC movie theater.
